AMA Flutes

We, Jakob and Samuel, are two enthusiastic flute makers. We have made it our goal to bring aesthetic and high quality meditation flutes to the world. Inspired by his experiences in several meditation retreats, Jakob and his wife Hanna undertook a 20 month journey in Nepal and India. Motivated by a Russian flute maker, Jakob made his first attempts at building bamboo flutes. Later, back in the Black Forest, he specialised in making Native American style pentatonic meditation flutes from local woods. To expand the business, Samuel came on board. Having grown up in a family owned carpentry business, his strength lies in optimising processes and enriching AMA Flutes in matters relating to wood. We are very grateful that we can live our dream with AMA Flutes and enrich the lives of many people with our flutes.
